• Information created when you use our Services: This includes transaction details, IP address, device information, browsing activity, and location (with your consent).
• Information from third parties: With your consent, we may collect information from third parties like email providers or partners to personalize your experience or offer specific services.

Vietpay Business app may request access to the following device permissions for the purposes described below:

• Camera: To capture images for identity verification, document uploads, or QR code scanning during secure transactions. 
• Storage: To upload necessary documents or save transaction receipts..
• Contacts: VietPay Business App requests access to your contact list so you can easily select recipients when making transfers or payments. Your contact data will be securely uploaded to our servers and used only to enhance your banking experience. We will never store or share your contacts without your explicit consent.
• Location: VietPay Business App requests access to your location to enhance your banking experience by offering region-specific financial services and to help secure your transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements. Your location data will be handled securely and never shared without your explicit consent.

 

Vietpay use your information to:

• Provide, personalize, improve, and maintain our Services.
• Process transactions and complete your requests.
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and other harmful activities.
• Send you marketing communications (with your consent).
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements as per State Bank of Vietnam.

 

• Purpose of Face Data Usage: Our application uses face data solely for identity verification when performing high-value transactions (over VND 10 million) or as required by Vietnamese regulations on payment security and Open API frameworks.
• Data Retention: Vietpay Business app do not store any face data on our servers or systems. All processing occurs locally on your device and is deleted immediately after use.
• Third-Party Sharing: Vietpay do not share face data with any third parties under any circumstances.
• Compliance with Vietnamese Laws: The Face ID functionality is implemented to comply with Vietnamese government regulations on personal data protection, electronic transactions, and payment security, including requirements for customer authentication in transactions above VND 10 million and relevant Open API regulations.
• User Rights: You have the right to know about, consent to, and withdraw consent for the use of your face data at any time. Because vietpay neither retain nor share face data, your rights are fully protected in compliance with Vietnamese Personal Data Protection regulations.

 

5. eKYC Process for Secure Transactions

• To ensure the security of your financial transactions, we use an electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) process as mandated by the State Bank of Vietnam.
• During this process, we capture your details according to State Bank of Vietnam guidelines. However, we do not store this data anywhere on our servers or systems. This is verified online as per guidelines defined by State Bank of Vietnam.
• The eKYC data is solely used to verify your identity during financial transactions, again following the State Bank of Vietnam's regulations.

 

We emphasize that your eKYC data is never shared with any third party.

 

We may share your information with:

• Authorized third-party service providers who help us deliver our Services.
• Financial institutions and partners involved in processing your transactions.
• Regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies as required by law.
• Third-party partners for specific services you choose to use with your consent.
